Hi Stamping Friends!
I was so excited to see that the Cool Treats stamps and Frozen Treats Framelits were carrying over from the Occasions Catalog into the new Annual Catalog! Those die-cuts are so much fun to play with! Did you know that the Retired List also includes all of the items that are retiring from the Occasions Catalog? Check it out to see what is leaving from both catalogs!

Frozen Treats Ice Cream Scoops Cards
Oh those die-cuts ice cream scoops look so tasty! I coordinated my scoops with the colors in the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper for my Cool Treats event, but it's so much fun to mix & match different "flavors" in the cones and bowl. There's even cute little spoon, syrup and cherry dies for awesome ice cream details! We'll be creating both of these cards at my Cool Treats Stamp Camp on April 23.
Background Basics—This card starts with two pieces of Tasty Treats DSP, one cut to 3-3/4" x 3" for the top and one cut to 3-3/4" x 2" for the bottom. I adhered those onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock, then mounted it onto a Watermelon Wonder card base. I added a 3-3/4" x 3/4" strip of Pool Party card stock over the DSP seams.
Ice Cream Cone—I die cut the parts of the ice cream cone with the Frozen Treats Framelits. The Crumb Cake cone is so fun, because it not only cuts the shape, it also adds the "waffle" texture! My scoops are in Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party, topped with an Early Expresso chocolate syrup and Watermelon Wonder cherry!
I adhered the cone with SNAIL onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes Framelits oval, and popped up the scoops with Dimensionals. The oval is layered onto a Watermelon Wonder scallop oval created with the Layering Ovals Framelits, then popped up with more Dimensionals.
I added a couple Rhinestone Jewels on each side for eye-catching details.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished by stamping a Cool Treats sentiment in Early Espresso onto a 3-1/2" x 1-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock, then I trimmed the ends into fishtail banners with my Paper Snips. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Inside The Card—I used the coordinating Tasty Treats Washi Tape to add a coordinating pattern to the inside.
Two Cool—My class kit includes supplies to make this second version of the card, this time with a horizontal design and featuring an ice cream sundae!
Background Basics—First, I stamped a Cool Treats greeting onto a 5" x 2-1/2" Pool Party pattern from Tasty Treats DSP. Then, I layered that stamped DSP along with a 5" x 1-1/4" Chocolate Chip pattern from Tasty Treats DSP onto a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Watermelon Wonder card stock. This time, it's tied with some Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon before adhering it to the Whisper White card base.
Ice Cream Sundae—I filled my Crumb Cake ice cream bowl die-cut with ice cream scoops in Very Vanilla, Pool Party and Peekaboo Peach, then topped with a Watermelon Wonder cherry. I popped those up onto a circle die-cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and matted it onto a scallop circle from Layering Circles Framelits. It's all popped up over the ribbon with more Dimensionals, then decorated with Rhinestones. Yum!
