Gnome For The Holidays Gift Card Holders

I love this simple gift card holder and the Gnome For The Holidays images fit perfectly with this style! Aren't they adorable?!

Gift Card Holder Basics—The gift card holder base is simple to create! I cut a 2-3/4" x 11" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and scored it at the 3-3/4", 7-3/4" and 8" marks. I rounded all of the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. Next, I used the Classic Label Punch to punch a gift card holder slot in the inside longer panel. I centered the panel in the punch, with it completely in the punch all the way, and punched the first hole. Then, I nipped out a little additional on both sides. You can see this in action in the LIVE Class Replay video above.

I decorated the front and inside panels with Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. For the front panel, the DSP measures 2-5/8" x 2-7/8", with rounded punched corners. I also added a 2-5/8" x 1-3/4" piece of DSP below the slot and a 2-5/8" x 1-3/8" piece of DSP, with two rounded corners, above the slot.

I finished by adding two Dimensionals near the rounded corners of the inside panel and attaching it to the center panel. This gives the slot some depth so it holds the gift card nicely.

Sweet Gnome—I stamped the Gnome For The Holidays image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval, then colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used Real Red, Old Olive and Petal Pink Blends colors. I also added some Wink of Stella shimmer over his outfit and ornament. So shimmery! It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Gnome For The Holidays greeting in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White, punched it with the Classic Label Punch, then popped it up with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—I created this second version on the LIVE Class, simply using the backsides of the same DSP and featuring the gnome girl image.

Sweet Gnome—I colored the image with Real Red, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Mango Melody and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends Markers.

Inside—The inside was done the same with the flip-side of the DSP.

Three Cool—The Gnome For The Holidays stamp set isn't just for holiday projects! I created this cute gift card holder that you could use for a birthday or thank you gift. This time, I decorated the holder with the Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper and stamped the third gnome image. I colored it with Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight, Real Red and Petal Pink Blends Markers.

It matches my Bath & Body Works gift card beautifully! I decorated the inner panel with a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Trimming The Town DSP, layered it over the punched slot cardstock, then used the slot as a template to punch the whole in the DSP. I love the finished look of this way!
