Gnome For The Holidays Peekaboo - two cool

Gnome For The Holidays Peekaboo Cards

How fun! I was inspired by a card I saw online created by Sherry Roth from Stamped Treasures for this peekaboo card! I love how it turned out!

Background Basics—My card base begins with a 7-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. I adhered a 5-1/2" x 2-5/8" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock across the front panel. I punched the three 1-1/2" circles from a 5-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper and tacked that down, with adhesive lightly dabbed around the outer edges, over the Pear Pizzazz layer. Colorful Characters—I stamped the three Gnome For The Holidays characters in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Whisper White cardstock, then colored them with Stampin' Blends Markers. You can watch the LIVE Class Replay for tips on how to achieve the shaded look with these awesome markers. Here are the colors I used:

1st Gnome—Real Red, Soft Suede, Petal Pink, Old Olive
2nd Gnome—Real Red, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Shaded Spruce, Mango Melody, Soft Suede
3rd Gnome—Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Old Olive, Petal Pink

Once the images were colored, I hand-cut them, added some SEAL Adhesive to the back and tucked them inside the circles.

For the last gnome image, I cut the image so that the ornament was free to hang over the outside of the circle window. Too Cool!

Sweet Sentiment—On the inside of the card, I layered a 5-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper along the bottom of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White. Don't forget, that DSP is on sale right now at 15% off until the end of October! Next, I stamped the Gnome For The Holidays sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a 2-1/4" x 3/4" strip of Whisper White, banner-cut the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—On the second card, I changed up the DSP patterns and mounted them onto a Real Red card base.

Colorful Characters—I stamped the same characters and colored them similarily.

1st Gnome—Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate
2nd Gnome—Real Red, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Shaded Spruce, Mango Melody, Soft Suede
3rd Gnome—Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Old Olive, Petal Pink

Optional: Add some Wink of Stella Glimmer for shimmering accents!

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment onto a 1-3/4" x 3/4" piece of Whisper White and didn't do the banner-cut edges.
