Life Gets Crazy Sometimes—I sincerely appreciate your patience in getting this class out to you! Our family has had a rough time lately! Nothing major, thank goodness, just LOTS of unexpected challenges amidst an already busy family schedule. Just SOME of the things happening in our world the past couple of weeks: my daughter was sick again, I got food poisoning, my Millie dog got her ear significantly torn at the groomers and needed emergency surgery to repair it, my Jax dog tore his ACL and we scheduled his surgery (two dogs in cones!), I’ve been hobbling around on a knee injury for weeks, our dryer went out and parts were delayed for a week as dirty clothes stacked up and my daughter & I created Valentine cards & treats to pass out (that was a fun one!).

That is only a partial list (big sigh). I’ve been in survival mode as I recover and regroup while my dogs continue to heal from their surgeries. Anyway, just wanted you all to have a glimpse at what’s been happening, so you didn’t think I was just sitting around eating bonbons while ignoring my stamping friends! I’m looking forward to (hopefully) getting back to some sort of normalcy & routine very soon.

Greenery Lane Here For You Card

Simple & stunning! This Greenery Lane class card comes together quickly & beautifully for a thinking of you card.

Background Basics

I embossed a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, now on the Last Chance List. It’s mounted onto an Early Espresso card base with SEAL Adhesive.

Next, I mounted a 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Nature Walk Designer Series Paper to a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock, then adhered the layers onto the card front.

Focal Point

I stamped the Greenery Lane large branch image in Gray Granite ink onto Basic White cardstock, then die-cut it with the coordinating Greenery Lane Dies. I also die-cut a Gray Granite cardstock branch using the same dies. They are attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the DSP panel.

Sentiment & Finishing Touches

I stamped a Greenery Lane sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. It’s popped up with Dimensionals over the branches. I finished with a couple of Faux Bronze Pentagons to match the Early Espresso color. So pretty!
