Here's a peek at the 10-Card Kit…

Whether you use the Hand-Penned Petals outline images or fill images, you can create a lovely background for cards! I tried out both on today's cards!
Background Basics—I started by stamping the large Hand-Penned Petals bouquet image in Misty Moonlight and stamping it all over a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Basic White. I mounted that onto a 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" piece of Just Jade cardstock. I wanted the background toned down just a bit, so it wouldn't compete with my die-cut focal point, so I added a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" layer of Vellum Cardstock over it. I adhered it with SEAL Adhesive placed behind where the Basic White sentiment layer and ribbon would eventually go. I tied some Just Jade gingham ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the layers, then adhered the layers to a Misty Moonlight card base.
Floral Focal Point—I stamped the Hand-Penned Petals sentiment in Just Jade ink onto a 3-3/4" x 2" piece of Basic White and adhered it to the card front. Next, I die-cut an intricate floral design with Misty Moonlight cardstock using the Penned Flowers Dies. It's adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adorned with a few Basic Pearl Jewels. You'll receive supplies to make this card in the 5-Card LIVE Class Kit.
Two Cool—I used a similar card layout to try a background with the fill images. The Soft Succulent card base is decorated with a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. This time, I stamped the fill flowers on the Basic White layer in stamped off Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron. I layered Vellum Cardstock over that to mute out the colors a bit, then mounted it onto a Misty Moonlight layer.
Finishing Touches—I tied some of the Misty Moonlight/Silver baker's twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the layers before mounting onto the card base. I finished by stamping a Hand-Penned Petals sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto a 2-1/2" x 3/4" piece of Basic White, fishtail cutting one end and popping it up with Dimensionals.
