Handcrafted Elements Season’s Greetings Card
The legendary Dena Rekow created this gorgeous Handcrafted Elements ornament swap card! I always love her colorful cards with a pop of black.
The Handcrafted Elements Dies are a stand-alone set, meaning there are no stamp sets bundled with it. If you’re looking for some elegant die-cut ornaments, you’re gonna love this dies pack!
Background Basics
Dena began by stamping a Christmas Classics sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. She embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, then layered it on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Old Olive cardstock before mounting it onto a Berry Burst cards base.
Focal Point Foundation
Dena stamped the Christmas Classics pine branch in Old Olive ink onto a 2-7/8″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. She layered that onto a 3″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Basic Black cardstock and mounted that onto the card front.
Elegant Ornament
Dena used the Handcrafted Elements Dies to die-cut a Berry Burst ornament and an Old Olive oval. She adhered the oval to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then popped up the ornament over the top with Mini Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
She added some Rhinestone Jewels for a little sparkle, then attached a Black & Very Vanilla Check Ribbon bow to the top with a Glue Dot. Just perfect!
Handcrafted Elements Merry & Bright Card
Sandy Carlson created this simple & stunning Handcrafted Elements swap card with some pops of glitter!
Background Basics
Sandy started by embossing a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. She adhered that to a Lost Lagoon card base. Next, she added a 1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of champagne colored More Dazzle Specialty Paper.
Focal Point
Next, Sandy stamped a Joy To You bold sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2-1/2″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Basic White. She layered that onto a 2-5/8″ x 2″ piece of More Dazzle paper, then popped it up with Dimensionals onto the card front. She finished by die-cutting a Handcrafted Elements ornament in Lost Lagoon, cutting it in half and popping it up above and below the sentiment. Just marvelous!
