Happiest Birthday Happy B-Day Cards

I love this fun background design that really shows off the awesome Designer Series Papers from Stampin' Up! Pick you favorite papers and follow the layout for an instantly cool and coordinated design! Best of all, depending on the papers you choose, you can make this card for any age and any gender recipient!

Happiest of Birthdays happy b-day - bermuda

Background Basics—I embossed the 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder and adhered it onto a Bermuda Bay card base. Next, I cut two coordinating pieces of Artistry Blooms Designer series papers measuring 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" and 1-1/2" x 3-1/4". Those papers were matted onto Night of Navy layers measuring 2-5/8" x 4-3/8" and 1-5/8" x 3-3/8".

I tied the Old Olive Ornate Garden Ribbon around the larger of the two panels and mounted it onto the card front with SEAL adhesive. The smaller panel is popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Happiest of Birthdays sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White scrap, then hand-cut it out with Paper Snips. I layered it onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and hand-cut that layer as well. It's popped up with more Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I sprinkled on some Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems around the panels for some sparkle.

Two Cool—The second version has a Mango Melody card base and some different coordinating patterns of Artistry Blooms DSP for the panels mounted onto Melon Mambo mats. I tied Bumblebee Gingham Trim around the larger panel this time.

Finishing Touches—This sentiment was stamped in Melon Mambo ink and layered onto Mango Melody. I added some different colors of Artistry Bloom Sequins on this one.
