Healing Hugs Stamped-Off Collage Cards
I fell in love with the pretty images in the Healing Hugs stamp set because of their extra-detailed, DisINKtive rubber design! The rose and leaf images are created with a dot-pattern like a printed newspaper image for the ultimate in detail. When stamped, those images look similar to real-life!
Background Basics—I started by adhering a 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" strip of Rococo Rose gingham paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack to a Rococo Rose card base.
Stamped-Off Collage—The background focal point begins with the rose image stamped in Rococo Rose ink, then I stamped the rose two more times without re-inking.
Next, I stamped the leaf image in Pear Pizzazz next to the roses, and I added them without re-inking, as well. I finished by stamping the outlined leaf image in Crumb Cake in some of the empty spaces.
Pretty Pearls—I added some Pearl Jewels around the flowers for a little soft shine.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Healing Hugs sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto a Blushing Bride Stitched Rectangles die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals. I topped it off with a Linen Thread bow, attached with a pinched Glue Dot.
Two Cool—The second card begins with a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" strip of Calypso Coral gingham pattern from the Subtles 6" x 6" DSP on top of a Calypso Coral card base.
Focal Point—I stamped the roses in Calypso Coral and progressively stamped off the next images without re-inking. The other images are similar to the first card.
Sweet Sentiment—This time the Healing Hugs sentiment is stamped onto a Grapefruit Grove Stitched Shapes die-cut and topped with a bow. So sweet!
