And, just like that…Christmas is over for another year. It's always a little bittersweet. I had so much fun this holiday season, and lots more fun is already in the works for 2018!
Most importantly, the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration promotion begins next week, on January 3! Woohoo! This week, I'm working on the January Stamp-of-the-Month featuring the new Sure Do Love You stamp set, so I'll have those details soon. Heart Happiness Floating Hearts Cards
Whether it's for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, a wedding or another "love"ly occasion, these cards are sure to warm the heart! I was trying to decide between the new Heart Happiness and the new Sure Do Love You stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog and I just couldn't! I had to purchase both because they belong together! Two is always better!
Background Basics—I started this card by stamping a line of mini Heart Happiness hearts in Melon Mambo along the bottom of a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock. It's mounted onto a Powder Pink card base.
Next, I adhered a 5-1/2" x 1" strip of the Painted With Love Designer Series Paper, with it's beautiful gold foil accents! Love that paper!
Happy Hearts—I stamped the large watercolor striped heart from Sure Do Love You in Melon Mambo ink, then die-cut it with the Lots To Love Box Framelits. I stamped the polka dot Heart Happiness heart in Calypso Coral and the smaller striped heart from the same set in Rich Razzleberry, then cut those out with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. These two are popped up with Dimensionals.

Awesome Accents—I added a White Baker's Twine bow to one heart with a Glue Dot. Then, I die-cut a couple of small Gold Foil hearts with the Mini Treat Holder Framelits to have a couple more shiny accents! They're adhered with Glue Dots, too.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Petal Palette sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink onto a 5/8" strip of Powder Pink, then fish-tailed the ends. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Two Cool—The second version begins with a Melon Mambo card base and Powder Pink tiny hearts on the background.
Floating Hearts—This time, all the hearts are the same colors, but I changed up the layout a bit. I used a different sentiment from Petal Palette, and I floated it up a little higher on this collage. I also replaced the twine with another mini Gold Foil heart. Sweet!
We'll be making the Melon Mambo version of this card at the "Last Thursdays" class!

Love your Valentines from your December class but I don’t know where you got the sentiments from [I JUST love you and FROM the Heart] They are not on in the Sure Do Love You stamps-set.
