Heartfelt Hellos Split DSP Enjoy Your Day Card
The first card from my Heartfelt Hellos LIVE Class is a CASE from a sweet swap card from Julie Davison! I loved how she split her Designer Series Paper panels with the sentiment label. What a fun look! I tried out a similar layout on my card, using some different colors and sentiment. I’ve detailed her card as my Two Cool Version below!
The Flight & Airy DSP is one of my favorite Sale-a-Bration selections this year! The watercolored birds and flowery images are just delightful and have a great “Spring” feel! Best of all, there are so many different colors represented in the papers…perfect for trying lots of fantastic color combinations! I love the paper with the Heartfelt Hellos, but it really pairs with just about any birthday, thank you or thinking of you kind of card! Background Basics
I started by adhering a 3″ x 3-1/2″ piece of pretty Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper onto the top of a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Soft Sea Foam. I added a 3″ x 2″ Pecan Pie complimentary pattern from the pack to the bottom of the layer, then mounted it onto a Lost Lagoon card base.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped the Heartfelt Hellos sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink onto a Basic White Nested Essentials label die-cut, then popped it up with Dimensionals. Enjoy the Heartfelt Hellos 6-sentiment stamp set for FREE with you place a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.
Darling Accent Elements
I punched Garden Green leaves and branches with the Bough Punch and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, tucked under the sentiment. Then, I hand-cut a little bird from the Flight & Airy DSP and popped it up over the greenery.
I finished with a few Sale-a-Bration Opaque Faceted Gems in Pecan Pie color. So cheery!
Heartfelt Hellos Split DSP Card by Julie
This is the adorable card created by Julie Davison that inspired my class card above. So sweet & simple!
Background Basics
Julie’s card begins by adhering a 2-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Flight & Airy DSP directly to the top center of a Fresh Freesia card base front. She added a coordinating Lost Lagoon pattern measuring 2-3/4″ x 2″ below it. I adore her choice of paper patterns and this whole color combination in general!
Sweet Sentiment
Julie used a different Heartfelt Hellos sentiment stamped in Lost Lagoon ink.
Finishing Touches
She added branches from the Bough Punch in Lost Lagoon and a bitty bird hand-cut from the same pattern of DSP. Super-cute! Thanks for sharing, Julie!
