A perfectly sweet card for your special Valentine!

I started with a Real Red card base measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at the 2-1/8″ and 6-3/8″ markers. TIP: Fold in the gate-fold edges flush first, then burnish for a gap-free, non-overlapped look.

One side of the gate is decorated with a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, embossed with the now retired Painted Texture Embossing Folder. The other side is a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper.

I die-cut a medium Hearts of Elegance heart in Basic White, then stamped a Hearts of Elegance sentiment in VersaMark Ink on the top right. It’s sprinkled with gold embossing folder from the Wow! Metallics Embossing Powder pack, then heat-set with the Heat Tool until glossy and smooth.

Next, I randomly stamped the Hearts of Elegance flower in “stamped-off” Melon Mambo and Fresh Freesia ink. It’s popped up onto a larger Hearts of Elegance Real Red die-cut heart. I attached the heart to the left gate with SEAL Adhesive.

I added three Hearts Sequins in three sizes for a little shine. So sweet!

Another lovely Valentine’s card that could also be used any time of the year to share with that special someone.

I started with a Fresh Freesia card base measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at the 4-1/4″ mark. I added a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Marbled Elegance DSP that has lots of Fresh Freesia color in the pattern.

Next, I die-cut a large Basic White and a large decorative-edge Fresh Freesia heart with the Hearts of Elegance Dies. I layered those onto the card front with SEAL, trimming the overhanging hearts flush with the edge of the card.

I stamped a Hearts of Elegance sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes banner die-cut. It’s sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat-set with a Heat Tool. I attached it with SEAL Adhesive over the hearts and trimmed it flush with the card’s edge.

I stamped the Hearts of Elegance flower in Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo inks onto Basic White. I also stamped the two leaves images in Granny Apple Green ink onto Basic White. All of the images were die-cut with the coordinating Hearts of Elegance Dies. I popped the flowers up with Dimensionals first, then tucked the leaves under them with SEAL.

I added some Berry Burst sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio for a little shine. Delightful!
