Hello Ladybug Greatest Wish Cards
The two-step Hello Ladybug images and coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch make super-cute ladybugs!
Background Basics – This card begins with a 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, a host-exclusive option that can be earned with Stampin' Reward dollars. Check page 170-171 of the Annual Catalog for details. It's adhered to a Just Jade card base. I added a strip of the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack with SEAL Adhesive across the middle, trimming the ends.
Sentiment Layer – I stamped the Hello Ladybug sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto a 2-5/8" x 4-3/8" piece of Basic White, then mounted it onto a 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Basic Gray. It's mounted onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.
Lovely Ladybugs – First, I stamped the large leaf in stamped-off Granny Apple Green ink onto Basic White, hand-cut and adhered it to the sentiment layer. I stamped two bug bodies in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White and punched them out with the Ladybug Builder Punch. I stamped the wings in Calypso Coral full-strength and stamped-off once onto scrap Basic White and punched those, too. I adhered them together, then popped them up onto the sentiment layer. I finished with a few Iridescent Rhinestones. I'm loving this color combination!
Two Cool – My second card is nearly identical to the first, with a Granny Apple Green card base.
Wings – The colors look so similar in the photos, but the wings on these ladybugs are actually stamped in Flirty Flamingo.
