He's The Man Argyle Cards

I love all of the cool argyle elements from the He's The Man collection, so I created a couple of cards that spotlighted them. Again, one with stamping and one with no stamping…two cool!

Background Basics—The first card started by embossing a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock with the Gingham Embossing Folder, which has a diamond-shaped pattern that coordinates well with argyles. I adhered it to a Soft Succulent card base.

Focal Point Foundation—I layered a 3-1/2" x 3" piece of He's The Man Designer Series paper onto a 3-3/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock. I wrapped some Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon around the layers, securing the ends on the back, and mounted the whole thing onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive. I added a couple of Matte Black Dots next to the layers.

Sensational Sentiment—I die-cut two Basic Black argyle shapes using the All That Dies and adhered them with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I finished by stamping the He's All That sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Basic White All That oval die-cut and popping it up with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—This second card started with a Mint Macaron card base and a panel of argyle-patterned He's The Man DSP across the bottom.

Focal Point Foundation—This time, I embossed a 4" x 3" piece of Sahara Sand cardstock and layered it onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Evening Evergreen. It's tied with some white baker's twine from the Essentials Baker's Twine Pack before mounting in onto the card front.

Sensational Sentiment—I die cut the argyles from Early Espresso cardstock this time and popped up a cool diamond-shaped die-cut from the He's The Man DSP pack. I finished it with some Basic White Classic Matte Dots. Super cute!
