We'll be making a High Tide card at my "Last Thursdays" card class tomorrow, AND I'm excited to announce that it will also be my featured stamp set for May! Stay tuned for more details on that class in May!

High Tide Watercolor Wash Hope Cards
I was so amazed at how quickly and easily these cards come together without the need for lots of extra layers and embellishments. The ink, images and paper are all that's needed for these cards to shine!
Layered Stamping—I started by stamping the Watercolor Wash background image in Pool Party ink onto a piece of 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White card stock. I love how that background creates a beautiful sky that perfectly coordinates with the style of the lighthouse image.
Next, I stamped the the High Tide layers as follows:
- Sandy layer stamped in Soft Suede ink at the bottom.
- Side-image of lighthouse in Soft Suede, stamped inside the cut-out in the sand.
- Second lighthouse image in Cherry Cobbler over the top.
- Flock of seagulls in Dapper Denim in the sky.
- High Tide phrase in Dapper Denim at the side.
The layers can be stamped so quickly, making this a very good card for reproducing in large quantities—stamp a whole stack!
Finishing Touches—I mounted the stamped layer onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" layer of Soft Suede card stock, then adhered that onto a Cherry Cobbler card base. Then, I attached a few gold sequins from the Metallic Sequins Assortment using Multipurpose Glue.
Two Cool—I couldn't really improve on the design of the card, so I just changed up the lighthouse and card base to the Dapper Denim color. It gives it even more of a masculine feel.
This time my sequins are in silver. I love, love, LOVE this card!
