High Tide Shining Lighthouse Cards
I love the textural details on these High Tide Stamp-of-the-Month class cards! The way the embossed wave background texture mimics the stamped waves in the oceanscape is pleasing to my eye! I also adore the hint of burlap that picks up the sandy beach and gives a natural, rope texture for even more nautical feel.
- Stamp the solid 3-part lighthouse image in Cherry Cobbler ink. TIP: Use a Piercing Mat underneath for a crisp, solid transfer of ink.
- Stamp the detailed lighthouse image in Crumb Cake over the top. TIP: Look directly down over the stamp to get this one lined up. I recommend doing some practice stamping first.
- Stamp the large sand image in Crumb Cake ink under the lighthouse. It has a lighthouse-shaped notch cut out of it, so it will fit around the bottom without needing to mask it.
- Stamp the water image on either side of the lighthouse in Marina Mist ink. Get as close as you can to the edge of the lighthouse and sand.
- Stamp the grass images in Wild Wasabi around the sand.
- Fill in the blank spots of the water with the tiny waves image. That one little stamp allows you to "fix" any missing water quickly an easily!
- Stamp the light beams in So Saffron ink coming out from each side of the lighthouse.
- Stamp the the High Tide sentiment Memento Black Ink.
Burlap Details—The more I work with the Burlap Ribbon, the more I enjoy it! It's much more versatile than I realized, especially when you cut it apart! Here, I started with a 5-1/2" long piece. I snipped in between the strands to separate them a bit, then I trimmed off each strand at a different length. It's adhered to the card base with lots of SNAIL (Fast Fuse might be a better choice!). Then, I popped up the focal point over the top.
Two Cool—The second card uses most of the same basic elements with a vertical orientation and a different sentiment. This time, I used a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Marina Mist on the background and have the "debossed" side of the texture showing. I love that side best!

Hi,
Several days ago, I sent money to preorder
the card kit this month. This is the one using the lighthouse stamp set. I was told that I would get an email letting me know that it had been received.
I have not had an email. Could you please let me know if you received my money for the kit.
Thanks so much and have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
Karren
