His & Hers Custom Tee Birthday Cards

For today's cards, I thought I'd play with the Custom Tee & Designer Tee stamps to create clean, simple & fashionable birthday cards: one with a flirty tee for her and one with a more formal dress shirt for him!

Background Basics—I started by adhering a 3-3/8" x 4-3/8" piece of Rich Razzleberry to a 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of Sweet Sugarplum, then mounting that onto a Tip Top Taupe card base. I also added a 3-3/8" x 3/4" strip of striped Watermelon Wonder paper from the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper pack.

Floral Tee—I used the T-shirt Builder Framelits to die cut the floral tee shape from another Succulent Garden DSP pattern. Next, I used the outline T-shirt image from the Custom Tee stamp set to add a Tip Top Taupe outline on the paper. This gives it a nice finished look.

Sassy Sash—I die cut the Whisper White sash with the T-shirt Builder Framelits, then stamped the sentiment from the Designer Tee Sale-a-Bration set across the sash with Calypso Coral. It's adhered to the shirt with SNAIL, then the shirt is popped up with Dimensionals onto a Whisper White oval shape die cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits. That is also popped up.

Finishing Touches—I finished by adding some large Rhinestone Jewels along the striped element, and a small Rhinestone at the top of the sash. Simple & sweet!

Two Cool—The second version is a little more formal and masculine. The background is Dapper Denim layered on Pool Party, then trimmed with striped Early Espresso paper from Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper.

Dapper Dress Shirt—The dress shirt is created by layering a T-shirt shape with a "collar" shape from the T-shirt Builder Framelits. I die cut both using a checked pattern from Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper, then stamped the Custom Tee shirt and collar outlines on the die-cuts with Tip Top Taupe to give them shape. Next, I die cut a tie from the same striped DSP as the border and adhered it with SNAIL.

Sentiment—This time, I stamped the Dapper Denim sentiment onto a 2-1/4" x 1/2" strip of Pool Party, fishtailed the ends, and popped it up with Dimensionals. A Rhinestone Jewel on each side anchors the greeting beautifully.
