Hi Stamping Friends!

Today, I'm sharing the first of the four designs from my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack class coming up next Thursday!  I especially hope my local stampers can join us for this fun holiday class!  But first…

In Search Of Found—I could use your assistance!  Yesterday, I had a bunch of backorders come in and I ended up with an extra Hearth & Home Framelits without a home.  I know that it belongs to someone who already has the Happy Scenes stamp set, but I'm not sure who that someone is.  If you are waiting on a Hearth & Home Framelits backorder from me, please contact me!  #customerservicefail  #losingmymind

Holly Jolly Ornament - 3 cool

Holly Jolly Greetings Ornament Cards

The first project from my November Holiday Card Stamp-a-Stack Class is one of my favorites!  I love the refreshing retro color combination and sleek & simple style. I hear from many of my class attendees that the photos never do the "real-life" cards justice and it's definitely true with this card design!  It's much more shiny & glittery in person!

Holly Jolly Ornament - peace

CASEd from Amanda Mertz at Did You Stamp Today?

Background Basics—The 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White piece is randomly stamped with the retro-style snowflake.  I inked the stamp with Lost Lagoon, stamping once, then stamping again for a lighter color before re-inking.  The layer is adhered to a Tip Top Taupe card base.

Focal Point Foundation—I embossed a 2-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Softly Falling Texture Impressions Folder, then mounted it on a 2-1/4" x 4" piece of Tip Top Taupe.  Before adhering it to the front, I added the hanger cord.

Red Ornament—I LOVE this pop of red, shiny color for the focal point!  The Red Foil ornament was die-cut with the Balloon Framelits…yes, that's an upside-down balloon!  Clever idea, courtesy of the original card designer, Amanda Mertz.

Ornament Hanger—I wrapped a small piece of Silver Cording Trim around the back of the snow panel and adhered it with a Dimensional, then popped up the whole piece with Dimensionals.  The other end is also attached to the front of the panel with a Dimensional.  I added a couple more Dimensionals on the back of the ornament, including a double-decker Dimensional to hold it level over the card base.

A tied a separate Silver Cording Trim bow and attached it with a Glue Dot to the top of the ornament.

Jolly Greetings—The Holly Jolly Greetings Bundle offers lots of fun stamps/thinlits greetings combinations.  I die-cut each of the three Christmas Greetings words from Silver Glimmer Paper and selected corresponding greetings for each of the cards. I adhered the Glimmer greetings with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Jolly Greetings Banner—The Holly Jolly words were stamped in VersaMark onto a 1/2" wide strip of Lost Lagoon card stock, then heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder until smooth and glossy.  The ends were hand-cut into fish-tails.  It's attached with SNAIL adhesive.

Peaceful Word Options—There are lots of word combos with each word.  "Peace" can be used with "Peace & Joy," "Holiday Peace," "Peace & Love," "Wishing You Peace," "Season of Peace" and "Comfort & Peace."

Two Cool—I designed all of my cards to be identical, except the greetings.

Holly Jolly Ornament - merry 2

Merry Word Options—I chose the traditional greeting for "merry," but you could also select "Merry Moments," Merry & Joy," "Merry Holiday," "Merry & Bright," "Have A Merry Christmas" and "Merry Wishes."

Holly Jolly Ornament - joy

Three Cool—I cut down the word "jolly" to make it into "joy" for the final card.

Holly Jolly Ornament - joy 2

Jolly & Joy Word Options—You can mix & match the words to make "Joy on Earth," "Jolly Moments," "Jolly Holiday," "Holiday Joy," "Have A Jolly Christmas," "Holly Jolly," "Joy & Love," "Jolly Wishes," "Wishing You Joy," "Season of Joy," "Christmas Joy" and "Comfort & Joy."

You know how much I love to mix & match…so you know I'm loving this bundle!  Woohoo!
