Hi Stamping Friends,
I had so much fun hanging out with my Too Cool Team last night! It was the first time that I shared the whole local event via Facebook LIVE with my team members that couldn't be there in person! It was so awesome that several of my team members from around the country got to join in on the event while it was happening to feel more connected! Talk about Too Cool! Want to join us next time? I have dozens of Too Cool Stampers all around the United States and I'd love for YOU to join us!

I love the patriotic color combination that Jodi Geers chose for her Home To Roost swap card. The darker Night of Navy and Merry Merlot colors remind me of handmade rustic gifts that I see at craft fairs and summer art shows.
Background Basics—Jodi began by stamping the beautiful Buffalo Check background image in Night of Navy onto a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. It's mounted onto a Crumb Cake card base. Next, she fishtail cut the end of a 1-1/2" x 4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock before running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Texture Impressions Folder. It's attached with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—Jodi stamped the Butterfly Gala greeting in Night of Navy ink onto a 2-1/8" wide Whisper White Rectangle Stitched Framelits die-cut.
Cool Rooster—Jodi stamped the Home To Roost rooster in Memento Tuxedo Black onto the die-cut, then colored him in with Stampin' Write Markers in Merry Merlot, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide and Daffodil Delight. The rectangle was mounted onto a 2-3/4" x 4-1/8" piece of Merry Merlot cardstock, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I love how Jodi finished off the card by tying a Night of Navy Baker's Twine bow around a strip of Braided Linen Trim and attaching it all with a Glue Dot. How cute!

Kathe's Home To Roost Just a Note Card
Kathe Madsen's swap card also featured the rooster with a Blueberry Bushel & Crumb Cake color combination!
Background Basics—Kathe covered the background of her Blueberry Bushel card base with a 4" x 5-1/4" layer from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. She also die-cut a Blueberry Bushel scallop square with the Layering Squares Framelits and adhered that to the card front, rotated to look like a diamond shape.
Sweet Sentiment—Kathe stamped the Home To Roost sentiment in Blueberry Bushel onto a small Whisper White Rectangle Stitched Framelits die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals and decorated with a 1/8" Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon bow, attached with a Glue Dot.
Handsome Rooster—Kathe stamped a Whisper White Stitched Shapes Framelits square die-cut with the Home To Roost wheat image in Crumb Cake ink. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, she stamped the rooster in Memento Black ink, then colored him in with Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers. She trimmed the image out with Paper Snips and adhered it over the wheat background. The piece is popped up over the blue diamond. So sweet!
