Well, my BFF project anyway!
On Saturday, I found myself in need of a card for my soon-to-be 13-year-old niece, Sammi, but I had very little time to get the creative juices flowing.
The Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog came to the rescue! Do you realize that there are 100s of project ideas pictured in that book? It's a fabulous resource, and one I admit to under-utilizing! When I needed something fast, all I had to do was flip the pages, and I quickly found a card that really appealed to me…
This cute card was CASEd from page 90 of the IB&C (you'll have to look it up, I'm not allowed to post pictures from the catalog) using the Best Friends Forever set I received at Convention. It's absolutely perfect for a new teen!
My project was pretty close to the original with only a few minor changes. Can you tell which things were changed?
Hey! It's been a while since I did a Two Cool Cards Contest…let's do it!
BFF Two Cool Cards Contest
Pull out your catalogs! Can you find the differences between the cards I created above and the card I CASEd from page 90 of the catalog? You can name differences from either of the cards above as they compare to the catalog project. (In other words, I'm not looking for the differences between my two cards.)
Find at least 5 differences, and email your list to me to enter to win a pack of assorted retired 6×12" Designer Series Paper similar to (but not exactly like) the one pictured here.
To enter, email your answers to me at Too Cool Stamping by Thursday, August 11, 2011. If you have at least 5 correct, you will be entered into the contest.
Fine print: Qualifying entries will be assigned a number in the order they are received, and the winning number will be selected will be selected by Random.org. Winner will be announced on August 12, 2011. US Residents only.
