In Color Club: You Make Me Smile Card

Here’s another Pretty Florals card that I’m featuring exclusively for my In Color Club during Month #3. During this month, participants will receive the Darling Duckling ink pad, cardstock and Faux Linen Ribbon and more. Check out the FAQs videos for a sneak peek at all cards!

Background Basics

I started by using the Textured Notes Dies to die-cut a layer of Timid Tiger cardstock and of Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper, adhering them together and mounting onto a Darling Duckling card base with SEAL Adhesive.

Sweet Blooms

I stamped the Pretty Florals stems image in Lemon Lime Twist ink onto a Basic White Spotlight On Nature die-cut. It’s adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Next, I stamped the Pretty Florals flower detail image in Timid Tiger ink onto Basic White and stamped the two-step solid image over the top in stamped-off Darling Duckling. I die-cut them with the Pretty Florals Dies and popped them up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped the Sweet Blooms sentiment in Secret Sea ink onto a Lemon Lolly Stylish Shapes large banner and popped that up with more Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches

I finished by tying Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot faux-bow. I also added three sizes of the Darling Duckling In Color Flat Pearls around the focal point.
