Peach Pie Simply Said Thinking of You Card
In Color Club participants will make 4 each of this Peach Pie color spotlight card during their Peach Pie month. All of the Club cards feature the Simply Said stamp set, Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper, In Color Glimmer Paper, In Color Shimmer Gems and coordinating Bordered Ribbon.
I also gave a sampling of other new tools from the catalog, like embossing folders & dies.
Background Basics
I started by embossing a 1-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pretty In Pink with the new Dashing Designs Embossing Folder. It’s mounted onto a Peach Pie card base.
Focal Point Background
I adhered 1″ x 3″ and 3″ x 3″ patterns from Unbound Beauty DSP to a 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Basic White. Next, I tied some Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon around the layers, right at the seam, into a double knot. It’s mounted onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment Focal Point
I stamped a Simply Said sentiment in Peach Pie ink onto a Basic White Unbounded Love die-cut label. It’s popped up onto a Peach Pie Unbounded Love die-cut label and mounted onto the focal point background.
Finishing Touches
I die-cut some Unbounded Love leaves in Pretty In Pink Glimmer Paper and adhered them under the sentiment label with Liquid Glue. I also die-cut some Peach Pie flowers using the Flowers of Beauty Dies, adding them with a Glue Dot. I finished by adding some Pretty In Pink In Color Shimmer Gems to the flower centers. So sweet!
Pretty In Pink Simply Said Birthday Card
I love the combination of Peach Pie and Pretty In Pink, so I created these two cards to switch up colorful elements like Glimmer Paper and Shimmer Gems in the alternate color.
Background Basics
I started with a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock embossed with the NEW So Swirly Embossing Folder. I adhered a 5-1/4″ x 1″ strip of Peach Pie across the bottom and mounted the layers onto a Pretty In Pink card base. I finished the background by tying some Pretty In Pink Bordered Ribbon around the card front and tying it into a double-knot.
Focal Point
I adhered a 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Unbounded Beauty DSP to a 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Pretty In Pink cardstock, then popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals. Next, I die-cut the intricate frame element with the Unbounded Love Dies in Basic White cardstock. It’s adhered with small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I also die-cut some Unbounded Love sprigs in Peach Pie Glimmer Paper and attached with more Liquid Glue.
Sentiment & Finishing Touches
I stamped the Simply Said sentiment onto a 3″ x 1/2″ strip of Basic White in Pretty In Pink ink. I banner cut the end and popped up with more Dimensionals. I finished with a few Peach Pie Shimmer Gems floating around the sentiment.
