In Color Club—Tranquil Tide Eastern Palace Cards

We had our monthly Too Cool Stamp & Share team event last night and it's always so much fun! Thanks so much to everyone who joined us!

I love to see the stampers working together and helping each other during the make & take session. Last night, we focused new products from the catalog with a several new product presentations, a new product showcase table, a "new bundle" swap, new product prize giveaways and lots of awesome show & tell projects from team members! Tranquil Tide Eastern Palace Cards!

The Eastern Palace suite and its rich color combination is the perfect way to round out the collection of In Color Club cards!

Background Basics—I die-cut a piece of 3-3/4" x 5" Very Vanilla card stock with one of the larger Eastern Medallion Thinlits dies. TIP: I recommend using the Precision Base Plate with these dies for clean & successful cuts. The Die Brush also helps to eliminate the little cut pieces.

After bending up the petals around the cut shape, I added a 3-3/4" x 1" strip of Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper, then adhered the layer to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Dapper Denim mat. I tied some of the Natural Gold Trim around the layers, then mounted the whole thing with SNAIL onto a Tranquil Tide card base.

Bundle It & Save—Purchase the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits together in a bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped an Eastern Beauty sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto Very Vanilla card stock, then die-cut it with the Layering Circles Framelits. I used the same framelits to die-cut a Fresh Fig scallop circle layer to mat behind it. I popped up the two layers with Dimensionals over the die-cut background.

Finishing Touches—I die-cut three small Gold Foil shapes with the Eastern Medallions Thinlits and attached them with Glue Dots so they were floating around the focal point.

Two Cool—I changed up the color combination of the second card feature Lemon Lime Twist for the DSP and scallop circle layers. I also tried the 1/8" Silver Ribbon and Silver Foil accents.

Three Cool—This card is very similar to the first card, except that I changed the die-cut style for the focal point to a different medallion shape. I tried the 1/8" Gold Ribbon on this one.
