Inked & Tiled Marshmallow Pie Treat Holders

Each month, our Too Cool Stampers Team has an online event called Stamp & Share and I create Make & Take Kits for it, including a little gift. Last month, we featured the Inked Botanicals Suite for the make & takes and I made these cute little matching treat holders for their kits. I CASEd the box from Angie Juda.

Box Basics—The treat holder starts with a 3-1/4" x 11" piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock. It's scored at the 4-3/4" and 6-1/4" marks. I added 3" x 4-1/2" pieces of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper to the front and back of the pouch. I also added a 3" x 3/4" strip of coordinating DSP across the bottom of the front.

Treat Closure—To make the holes for the treat box, I held the two panels together, flush at the top, and used the starburst shape of the Inked & Tiled Punches to make marks on the sides so I would know where to punch (you can't punch through two sides at one time). I used the marks to position my punch to punch out one side and then the other. After the box bottom is mounted (see below), I tied the closure with Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon.

Box Bottom—The holder has a little box on the inside to keep the treat secure. It's made with a 5" x 3-1/2" piece of Lost Lagoon that's scored at 1" on all sides. I trimmed along the score lines on two opposite sides, then folded up the sides and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or SEAL+ Adhesive. I mounted the box by centering it inside the bottom panel of the pouch.

Floral Focal Point—I decorated the front with a large Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. I stamped the Inked & Tiled sentiment on it first in Lost Lagoon ink. Then, I added Inked & Tiled flower images stamped in Petal Pink, stamped-off Crushed Curry and stamped-off Calypso Coral. It's popped up with Dimensionals and embellished with some blue Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Two Cool Treat—I love it when I can find treats to match and this one turned out fitting and coordinating perfectly! I filled the boxes with Banana Marshmallow Pies
