Inspiring Iris You Are Somebody Cards
I created these colorful cards with just one step of the Inspiring Iris two-step stamps. I featured two of my favorite color combinations. Which colors would you combine for this card layout?
Incredible Irises—I stamped the "filler" flower image from Inspiring Iris along the top of a 5-1/2" x 3" piece of Whisper White using Rococo Rose, Flirty Flamingo and Mango Melody. Then, I added the grasses and stems images with Pear Pizzazz. TIP: Turn the grasses images around and use the bottom of it to fill in the blanks with shorter grasses.
Background Basics—I layered the stamped piece onto a 5-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Gray Granite, then mounted it onto a Rococo Rose card base.
Terrific Trim—I tied some Braided Linen Trim around the card front to add a little texture and painted the flowers with Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Inspiring Iris sentiment in Gray Granite ink onto a Whisper White Tasteful Labels die-cut. I finished with a Mango Melody Holiday Rhinestone.
Two Cool—I stamped the second card with flowers in Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock and Pacific Point.
Finishing Touches—I used the retiring Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon for the trim and added a blue Holiday Rhinestone.
