Inspiring Iris Thanks Cards
The final pair of cards from last week's Inspiring Iris LIVE Class are so sweet and simple. You'll receive the supplies to create the first card in the LIVE Class Kit.
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and adhering a 4" x 1-1/2" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock across it. I tied a Terracotta Tile organdy ribbon from the Ornate Garden suite around the layers, then mounted it onto the Mango Melody card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Focal Point—I die-cut a Whisper White Tasteful Labels shape for the focal point. I stamped the Inspiring Iris flower outline in Memento Black ink, as well as a sentiment. I stamped the flower fill with Mango Melody ink and the leaves filler with Pear Pizzazz. I finished by coloring a Basic Rhinestone Jewel with the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker for a coordinating sparkle.
Two Cool—The second card has a textured background made with the retiring Basket Weave Folder. I added a Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon before mounting the background onto a Flirty Flamingo card base.
Focal Point—This time, I didn't stamp the outline; I simply stamped the flower in Flirty Flamingo and leaves in Pear Pizzazz. I added a Champagne Rhinestone to the flower center.
