Hi Stamping Friends!
It's so hard for me to believe that we are already 3 weeks into Sale-a-Bration and I'm just starting to celebrate it! How about you? Have you placed your $50 or $100 orders to receive a FREE Sale-a-Bration item or two?
Today, I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring the adorable Awesome Otters stamp set, along with two different Designer Series Papers: the Simply Marbleous DSP and the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP. All of them are options that you can select for FREE with a $50 order! So cool! Get all the details below!
Daily Dose of Ava: Thank you to everyone who has sent me messages and well-wishes about Ava. I don't like to inundate you baby photos, but this one is too cute not to share. She's our own little Kewpie Doll! Boy, am I showing my age here? My grandma Princess (yes that was her name!) collected dolls and she would have loved this photo! This week, Ava has discovered that she loves to be in a sitting position so she can see the world better.

Otterly Awesome & Simply Marbleous Easel Card
What a fun card! Super-cute otters and a super-cool fancy fold, easel-style card! Print out the project sheet linked above to make one for yourself!
Card Base—Begin with a 4-1/4" x 11" Balmy Blue card base, scored at the 5-1/2" mark. Align the top right flap corner into the Paper Trimmer groove, then score down to the bottom left corner. Fold down the score line to make the fun-fold easel.
Background Basics—Adhere a 5" x 2" piece of Simply Marbleous Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper across the bottom of a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White. Die-cut a Hippo & Friends Misty Moonlight die-cut label and adhere it to the center of the card front. Next wrap some Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the card front along the top of the DSP and adhere the ends on the back. Layer that onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Misty Moonlight. Mount this onto the bottom triangle of the Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Glue.
Focal Point—Die-cut a smaller Hippo & Friends Basic White label and stamp an Awesome Otters sentiment on it with Memento Black Ink. Stamp the otter image above it and stamp the birthday hat on Basic White scrap, both with Memento Black ink. Color the image with Stampin' Blends Markers in Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight and Gray Granite. Fussy-cut the birthday hat and attach with Mini Dimensionals, then add the whole label to the card front with Dimensionals. Finish by adding a few Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the top of the card.
Inside The Card—Adhere a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White to the inside of the card. Stamp the Awesome Otters sentiment in Memento Black onto Balmy Blue cardstock, then die-cut with the Hippo & Friends dies. Pop up label onto the inside of the card with Dimensionals, positioned to hold up the card front easel.

Card Created by Robyn Scherzer.
Otterly Awesome Sunshine & Rainbows Card
I received this sweet swap card from Robyn Scherzer using both the Awesome Otters stamp set and Sunshine & Rainbows DSP from the Sale-a-Bration promotion. The paper is ideal for birthday cards and the otters are perfect to bring a smile to faces of any age. Best of all, it's really simple to create!
Background Basics—Robyn's card begins with by decorating a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with 1-1/4" x 3-3/4" strips of Sunshine & Rainbows DSP. She tied some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon around the piece, then popped it up onto a Thick Basic White card base.
Sweet Sentiment—Robyn stamped the Awesome Otters greeting in Bermuda Bay onto a Basic White Scalloped Contours die-cut. It's popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Focal Point—Robyn finished by stamping the Awesome Otters birthday hat and otter images in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and coloring them with Stampin' Blends Markers. She used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Polished Pink Blends for the coloring. She fussy-cut them and popped them up next to the greeting. She finished with a few sparkly Rhinestone Jewels.

Maternity Leave Update—We are enjoying our sweet little Ava, born on November 17. See photos of Miss Ava on my Too Cool Stamping Facebook Page.
►LIVE Classes—My regular schedule is temporarily on hold while we adjust to our new lives with baby Ava. I may do some LIVE videos without offering kits, but it will just depend on how things are going. I'll let you know in plenty of time if I decide to go ahead with a LIVE Class.
►Modified Maternity Leave—I'm on what I call a "modified maternity leave" between now and January 31. What this means is that I will not be having regular events, LIVE Classes, daily blog posts, or regular Facebook posts. However, I'm not stepping away from my business completely! I WILL still be touching base with you as much as I can, giving you updates on Stampin' Up! promos, having some of my own specials, sharing creative ideas & tips, and, of course, giving you updates on baby girl. I want to still be accessible to you for ordering and any questions you may have. I thank you in advance for your understanding and continued business during my downtime and I'm looking forward to being back stamping with you regularly early in 2022.
