Band Together You Are Amazing Cards
Peggy Tassler created these cards featuring the beautiful die-cuts from the Detailed Bands dies. Ohhh…I think they turned out so elegant in those classy colors with a pop of Lovely Lipstick! Today thru Friday only, you can save an addition 5% on the Band Together Bundle featuring these Detailed Bands dies and coordinating Band Together stamp set! It's a set that's worth a look for the sentiments alone!
Background Basics—Peggy started by texture embossing a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock with the Scripty 3D folder and adhering it to a Smoky Slate card base. Next, she die-cut one of the two gorgeously detailed bands from the Detailed Bands dies in Basic Black cardstock and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Altered Band—Peggy wanted the focal point to be a bit off-set, so she trimmed off a small piece of the band on the left side and added it to the right side of the band to extend it. When you add the flower element, you can position it so that the seam of the band is covered.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Band Together sentiment (there are so many good ones!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White cardstock. It's die-cut with a coordinating die from the same set and popped up over the detailed flourishes.
Focal Point Flower—The flower outline was stamped in Lovely Lipstick, then Peggy colored it in beautifully with Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Markers. She stamped the leaves in Old Olive and shaded and blended those with matching Blends. Both shapes were die-cut with the dies and popped up with Dimensionals. A little Wink of Stella on the petals adds a little glimmer and shine!
