The sweet sea life from the Friends of the Ocean Suite did not stick around nearly as long as I would have liked! It’s already part of the Last Chance collection, meaning it will retire as soon as supplies are sold out. This cute swap card was created by Melissa Faust.

Melissa embossed a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Melon Mambo cardstock with the Plaster Painting Embossing Folder and mounted it onto a Melon Mambo card front.

Next, she added a 4″ x 3″ piece of the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper to a 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ piece of Basic White and mounted that onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

First, she die-cut a Pool Party circle with the Spotlight on Nature dies and popped that up with Dimensionals. Then, she stamped the Ocean Friends two-step lobster in Calypso Coral onto Basic White cardstock; full-strength for the outline image and stamped-off for the fill-in image. It’s die-cut with the coordinating Ocean Friends Dies. The lobster is popped up, as well.

Melissa stamped the Ocean Friends sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a 2-3/4″ x 5/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock, attaching it with Dimensionals on one end and SEAL Adhesive on the other. She finished with a couple of Peach Pie Party Dots. So cheery!

Here’s another adorable Friends of the Ocean card, this time created by Sandy Risi.

Sandy started by adhering some 4″ x 1″ strips of Friends of the Ocean DSP and Summer Splash In Color Glimmer Paper across a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. It’s mounted onto a Pumpkin Pie card base.

She stamped the Ocean Friends sentiment in Summer Splash ink onto the bottom of a 2-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Basic White, then matted it onto a 2-3/8″ x 4-5/8″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock. She popped up the layers with Dimensionals.

Next, she used the Ocean Friends Dies to die-cut a lobster image directly from the Friends of the Ocean DSP and popped it up, as well.

Sandy finished with a couple of Sunny Days Dots, which have unfortunately already retired. Super cute!
