It’s Your Day Blended Cocktail Card

I created a yummy strawberry cocktail for this second card from my Celebratory Sips LIVE Class. Stampin’ Blends Markers made it so easy!

Background Basics

I started by embossing a 4-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Real Red cardstock with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder’s geometric pattern. It’s adhered with SEAL Adhesive along the bottom of the Real Red card front.

Next, I layered a 2-3/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of colorful Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper onto a Cherry Cobbler Textured Notes die-cut rectangle. I tied some Cloud Cover Faux Linen Ribbon around the layers and mounted them onto the card front with SEAL.

Focal Point Foundation

I punched a 2″ Real Red cardstock circle and layered it onto a Cherry Cobbler Stylish Shapes die-cut with SEAL, then popped up the layers with Dimensionals.

Sweet Strawberry Focal Point

I stamped the Cheers & Sips glass, umbrella and strawberry garnish in Smoky Slate ink onto Basic White. After the images were thoroughly dry, I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the images, leaving white around the edges to mimic the look of the DSP images. The umbrella is colored with Light Cloud Cover. The strawberry is colored with Light Real Red and Light Old Olive. The cocktail is an ombré of Light Cherry Cobbler, Dark Real Red and Light Real Red Blends Markers.

I die-cut each of the images with the coordinating Cheer’s & Sips Dies, then popped them up on the circle with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped the Cheers & Sips sentiment in Real Red ink onto a Cloud Cover Stylish Shapes small banner die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches

I finished by adding a few Holographic Resin Dots around the focal point. Just perfect!
