We're on our final day at Leadership in Houston and immediately following the event, I'm participating in an organized swap.  You guys get a first look at what I'm swapping!

Leadership swap - two cool

This card features the So Very Grateful stamp set and a Double-Time Stamping technique, which is just a variation of the Triple Time Stamping technique.

Leadership swap - sequins

Double-Time Stamped Background—I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Bermuda Bay, folded in half for the card base.  Next, I cut out the banner with the new Banners Framelits and temporarily tacked it down on the card front.  I used Dotto, but you could use just a smidgen of SNAIL or another temporary adhesive.

After inking my So Very Grateful floral image with StazOn Black, I stamped over the top left corner of the banner so my image also stamped onto the card front.  I repeated the process on the bottom right corner of the banner.

Leadership swap - sequins 3

Coloring The Image—I used straight markers, in So Saffron, Pool Party, Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi to color the image.  For a more subtle, watercolor look, you could apply ink with a Blender Pen instead.

Banner Focal Point—I mounted it on a piece of So Saffron card stock, then trimmed around it leaving a 1/8" mat edge. The matted edge covers up any space that may have been left unstamped around the focal point layer.  Once all of the background of the card was finished, I lined the images back up and attached it to the front with Dimensionals.

Leadership swap - sequins 4

Banner Sentiment—The "thank you" is also from the So Very Grateful set, also stamped in StazOn Black, then die-cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits and popped up.

Leadership swap - sequins 2

Background Texture—I tried out a brand-new embossing folder on the 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Pool Party card stock.  The folder is called Decorative Dots—and I love it!  It will be one of the Sale-A-Bration items that's available to earn for FREE with a qualifying $50 order beginning on January 28!  Woohoo!  We'll definitely be using it at my Sale-A-Bration Kick-Off Party on January 25, so come and check it out!

Golden Touches—I wanted to finish off the card with some of the beautiful Gold Baker's Twine to show you how awesome it is!  But, alas, my order including it was delayed due to the weather and I didn't receive it before I left.  Thankfully, my roommate, Kim Vogel, was kind enough to bring me some to Houston so I could finish my swaps with the twine.

For this post, I completed a couple of cards using other gold accents instead.  This one uses the new Gold Sequin Trim, which I adhered with Multipurpose Glue.

Leadership swap - foil

My second version uses a 1/4" sliver of the Gold Foil for an accent, adhered with Multipurpose Glue.

I'm also sending out these cards to my Top 5 team sales achievers for December, but they get the sparkly, sparkly version!  I used a 2-Way Glue Pen to add Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers for this glittery look!
