Your Presents Happy Birthday Card
I sure had fun using the Your Presents stamp set for the holidays, but the best part is that those little packages are perfect for ANY time of year! We'll be creating this fun design at the "Last Thursdays" class on Wednesday!
Background Basics—I started with a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Lost Lagoon In Color Designer Series Paper Stack paper for sensational striped border. It's adhered to a Whisper White card base. I fish-tailed a 3-1/2" x 1/2" piece of Lost Lagoon card stock and adhered that to a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White to create a foundation for my gifts.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped an Endless Birthday Wishes greeting in Wild Wasabi underneath.
Pretty Presents—I stamped a trio of gifts using images from the Your Presents stamp set onto Whisper White card stock. The packages are stamped in either Wild Wasabi or Lost Lagoon ink and the striped and smallest gift are both cut down to a smaller size. I stamped bows in the opposite colors and hand cut them with Paper Snips. They are all popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Stars—Before adhering the background layer to the card, I stamped some small stars from the Perfect Pines stamp set in Wild Wasabi and Mint Macaron, then added three Rhinestone Jewels, too. What a fun celebration!
Two Cool—For my horizontal version, I swapped out the Rhinestones for some loops of Silver Cording Trim. Gosh, I sure hate to see the Cording Trim go! I love those loopy accents that add just a touch of shine!
Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
