Jolly Friends—Jolly Elf All Bundled Up Cards

The Jolly Friends set has some adorable characters, like this sweet elf!  It was so much fun to dress up these Santa-helpers with different scarves and matching hats!  We'll be creating both of these cards in my November Stamp-of-the-Month Class-To-Go Kit!

Background Basics—Along with the Jolly Friends stamp set, my class kit features a 1/2 pack of the 6×6" Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack.  I've used one of the green plaid patterns here as a cozy backdrop for this elf.  The DSP measures 3-3/4" x 5" and is layered on a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Black.

Jolly Elf—I stamped the Jolly Friends elf in Archival Black Ink onto Whisper White, then used an Aqua Painter and Blushing Bride ink to color in his face.  He was hand-cut with super-sharp Paper Snips and popped up on a Whisper White Layering Circles Framelits die-cut with Dimensionals.  I stamped his scarf in Cherry Cobbler ink, hand-cut that, and added it with more Dimensionals. 

Jolly Hat—I stamped the Jolly Friends hat parts in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green, then punched them out with the Jolly Hat Builder Punch.  You can get the punch separately or as part of the Jolly Friends Bundle for a discount.  I'm offering an optional Add-On to my class, and I truly think it's a must-have!  The parts are popped up with more Dimensionals. 

Finally, I popped up the whole circle onto a Silver Glimmer scallop circle, also die-cut from Layering Circle Framelits.  The Glimmer paper is attached to the card front with SNAIL.

Repeated Greeting—I stamped the Tin of Tags greeting on Cherry Cobbler onto a 3-3/4" x 1" strip of Whisper White.  Then, I cleaned the stamp and stamped on either side of the first greeting in Garden Green ink.  I love that fun, repeated look! 

Finishing Touches—I tied some Cherry Cobbler twine from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack around the card background, then adhered the layers to a Cherry Cobbler card base.  I finished by adding some Rhinestone Jewels floating around the focal point circle. 

Inside Décor—I finished the "All Wrapped Up" saying with the Tin of Tags "With Love" on the inside, paired with a tiny trio of Cherry Cobbler stars.  The bottom edge is decorated with Warmth & Cheer Washi Tape, which also comes in the class kit!

Two Cool—The second card has a Cherry Cobbler Warmth & Cheer DSP background, along with a Garden Green card base and Garden Green twine bow.

Jolly Elf—I decorated this elf with a Garden Green scarf and Garden Green hat with a Cherry Cobbler cuff and a little jingle bell ball on the tip!  Cute!

Sweet Sentiment—This time I used the "Special Delivery" phrase from the Tin of Tags set with the same repeater technique.

Inside—I thought the Tin of Tags "This is for you" went nicely with "Special Delivery" on this one.  That red plaid is my favorite washi tape from the Warmth & Cheer pack.
