I really have a thing for beautiful & elegant cards, so I couldn't wait to share a couple of stunning cards created by my Too Cool Team!  I wish I had better photos of them, but I think you'll get the idea.

What do you think of these?

Floral details gold & navy - peggy

Created by Peggy Tassler.

1) Peggy's Elegant Gold & Black Detailed Flourish Card

Peggy Tassler tried out the intricate Detailed Flourish Thinlits with Basic Black card stock layered on Gold Foil.

Background Basics—Start by die-cutting two Whisper White die-cuts with the smaller of the two Floral Details Thinlits dies.

TIP: I highly recommend using the new Big Shot Platform and the Precision Base Plate to help make your cuts crisp & clean in just two passes through the Big Shot.  The Die Brush is also helpful for quickly rolling out all those little pieces before you even remove the die-cut from the die.

She used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the delicate die-cuts to the Basic Black card base.

Sweet Sentiment—Peggy created her own custom greeting using the words & phrases from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.  She stamped the words in VersaMark Ink onto a 3/8" wide strip of Basic Black, then embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder.  The strip is popped up with Dimensionals.

That's it!  So fast & fabulous!

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.

Kathe - blossom gold heart

Created by Kathe Madsen.

2) Kathe's Bloomin' Heart Congratulations Card

Kathe Madsen created this gorgeous congratulations card for a wedding.  So, so pretty!

Background Basics—Kathe matted a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4' piece of pretty retired Designer Series Paper to a 3-3/4" x 5" Gold Foil mat, then adhered it to a Blushing Bride card base.

Bloomin' Heart—She created the Blushing Bride heart die-cut with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits, then layered it over a hand-cut Gold Foil heart with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  She also die-cut some Very Vanilla flowers with the same thinlits set, sponging a little Blushing Bride ink on the edges before attaching them with Glue Dots and accenting them with Pearls.  I think the whole heart is popped up with Dimensionals.

TIP: As mentioned for the above card, I highly recommend using the new Big Shot Platform and the Precision Base Plate to help make your cuts crisp & clean in just two passes through the Big Shot.  The Die Brush is also helpful for quickly rolling out all those little pieces before you even remove the die-cut from the die.

Sweet Sentiment—Kathe stamped the Timeless Love greeting in VersaMark onto Very Vanilla and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder.  It's punched with the Classic Label Punch.  She punched a second Classic Label shape from Gold Foil, cut it in half and positioned it on either side for another nice gold accent.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
