Hi Stamping Friends!
You know that I love creating "TWO" cool cards, but I have to say I'm super impressed by the efficient way that Connie Stewart made two cards using not only the Flourish die-cut, but its reversed, negative die-cut, too! Talk about Two Cool! Take a look!

2 For 1 Flourish Thinlits Cards
Today's double card project is quick, simple & simply fabulous! It features the beautifully intricate die-cuts from the Flourish Thinlits, along with a trick on using up those leftover negative image that many might throw away! Learn more about these awesome dies by watching this Flourish Thinlits Video.
Background Basics—Start by stamping the Flourishing Phrases large flower all over the front of a Melon Mambo card base using VersaMark Ink.
Two Cool Flourishes—Die-cut the large Flourish Thinlit die-cut from a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic Black card stock. Take care to position it the way you would like it to be positioned on the card front of the second card.
TIP: I highly recommend using the new Big Shot Platform and the Precision Base Plate to help make your cuts crisp & clean in just two passes through the Big Shot. The Die Brush is also helpful for quickly rolling out all those little pieces before you even remove the die-cut from the die.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the positive die-cut to the stamped Melon Mambo card base.
Flower Layers—Punch a Basic Black Flowering Medallion shape and adhere it onto the card front with SNAIL or Dimensionals. Die-cut Flourish flowers from Melon Mambo & Whisper White card stock, then adhere them to the top of the black flower with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Finishing Touches—Add Pearl Jewels to the little berries on the flourish die-cut. Color one of the large Pearls with a Black Sharpie for the flower center. Finish by stamping a Flourishing Phrases sentiment in Basic Black ink.
Two Cool—Adhere the negative Flourish Thinlits die-cut onto a Melon Mambo card base.
Flower Layers—Die-cut Flourish flowers from Melon Mambo & Whisper White card stock, then adhere them to the card front the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Finishing Touches—Add Pearl Jewels to the little berries on the flourish die-cut, as well as to the flower center. Finish by stamping a Flourishing Phrases sentiment in VersaMark ink and embossing with White Embossing Powder and accenting with more Pearls.
Bundle It & SAVE! Purchase the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and Flourish Thinlits together in a Bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately!
