Bzzzzzzz! Today's projects feature bees from two different stamp sets! I've noticed that August typically means a lot more bees buzzing around my flowers. I'm not a huge fan of the real things, but the stamped variety sure helps create some bee-autiful cards!

Peggy's You're Inspiring Bee Thankful Card
Peggy Tassler created this sweet card for our team swap this week and I love it! Our challenge was to do a card with embossing and she opted for both heat and texture embossing. Here's how it's made…
Cool Partial Embossing—My favorite part of this card is the super-cool partial embossing she did on the stamped layer! She ran a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock diagonally through the Big Shot with the Hexagons Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder, stopping just short of the top right corner. She left that part non-textured so she could stamp the bee image there! Too Cool!
Beautiful Bee—Peggy stamped the bee image from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in VersaMark onto the top corner, then embossed it with Black embossing powder and a Heat Tool until smooth and glossy. She colored in the bee with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. This layer was mounted onto a 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—She stamped a greeting from the You're Inspiring stamp set in Memento Black Ink onto a 2-1/8" x 1/2" strip of Whisper White and popped that up, too. She finished up the card with a few random Rhinestone Jewels.
