Karen’s Snowflake Sentiments Cards In Blue & Pink

Background Basics—Karen began by cutting a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper for the background.  She cut out a scalloped snowflake background layer from Soft Sky card stock with the Swirly Snowflakes dies.  Then, she die-cut the intricate snowflake trio from Dazzling Diamonds Paper using the same thinlits.  It's adhered to the Soft Sky layer and both are mounted on the card front.

Accents—Karen wrapped some of the gorgeous white Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the DSP and secured the ends of the back, then mounted the layer onto a Whisper White card base.  She tied a separate bow and attached that on the side with a Glue Dot.  She also added some Pearl Jewels to the center of the snowflakes, and some Rhinestone Jewels to the background paper.

Sweet Sentiment—The Snowflake Sentiment greeting was stamped onto Whisper White in VersaMark and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  It's cut out with the Everyday Label Punch, also carrying over into 2018!  She punched a second shape from Dazzling Diamonds Paper, cut the shape in half and re-positioned peeking out from either end of the sentiment. She popped up the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—Karen created a second Snowflake Sentiments cards with a more vintage, distressed look.  This time, she silver embossed the snowflake images onto a 2" x 5-1/4" Powder Pink panel, and mounted it along with a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper piece, onto a Crumb Cake card base. 

Accents—She wrapped some retired Tip Top Taupe ribbon around the front securing the ends on the front under the sentiment.  She also folded some of the Metallic-Edge Ribbon and secured it on the card front with Glue Dots to peek out from under the sentiment.

Sweet Sentiment—Karen silver embossed another phrase from the Snowflakes Sentiment onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes die-cut, then sponged on some Powder Pink ink before popping up with Dimensionals.  She added a single Rhinestone Jewel accent.  So pretty!
