Hi Stamping Friends,
Last night, I gathered with 10 of my local Too Cool team members for a birthday themed shoebox swap! Wow—did we have some fabulous projects and a whole lot of fun!
Today, I'm sharing one of the amazing cards, this one designed by Kathe Madsen!
Helping Me Grow Birthday—Kathe's card features a floral image from the beautiful Helping Me Grow stamp set. I'm so excited that this set will be carried over to the new catalog! I love the soft Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party colors on this sweet card!
Background Basics & Coloring—The Helping Me Grow image was stamped in Memento Black Ink onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock, then colored in with Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party & Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers. After sponging on some Pool Party ink over the background, the layer was matted on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock.
Ribbon Accents—I tied a 1/8" Silver Ribbon around the stamped layer before attaching it to the Wisteria Wonder card base.
Kathe's original card featured soon-to-retire Wisteria Wonder Seam Binding, which coordinated fabulously!
Shimmer Accents—If you look closely at the flower petals, you'll see some lovely Wink of Stella clear shimmer. It gives the card a stunning shine!
Sweet Sentiment—The greeting was stamped with the Rose Wonder set in Wisteria Wonder ink, inside a stamped label outline from the same set. The label was punched from the coordinating Rose Garden Thinlits, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Bundle It NOW & Save—Save 15% when you purchase the Rose Wonder stamps and Rose Garden Thinlits in a Bundle before May 31, 2016, or while supplies last. The stamps and thinlits are carrying over to the new catalog, but the bundle isn't. Save when you purchase it now!
