Forever Blossoms Stepped Up Cards

We'll be creating the first card for my Kickoff Party and I created the second card as a stepped up version.

Background Basics—I started by adding a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the gorgeous Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Pool Party card base.

Beautiful Blossoms—I stamped the Forever Blossoms image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White. I partially colored the flower petals with Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Markers, then added some Light Old Olive Blends ink to the leaves. The stems are colored with Light Soft Suede Blends. I mounted the stamped layer onto a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Petal Pink cardstock.

Finishing Touches—I tied some Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the layers before popping them up with Dimensionals onto the card front. I finished with some Champagne Rhinestones on each flower center.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Forever Blossoms sentiment in Memento Black Ink onto Pool Party cardstock, then double-punched it with the Classic Label Punch to make a shorter label. Double-punching involves punching it out once, then threading one end into the punch to punch again and make it shorter.

Two Cool—I stepped things up a bit with my second card! The background begins the same as the first card.

Lovely Layers—I used the Rectangle Stitched dies to die-cut a 2-5/8" x 4" piece of scripted Petal Pink Parisian Blossoms DSP, then die-cut a larger rectangle from Champagne Foil to mount it on. The ribbon was tied around the layers before I popped it up with Dimensionals.

Beautiful Blossoms—I stamped the Forever Blossoms image onto a scrap of Whisper White this time and die-cut it with the Cherry Blossoms dies. I colored it similarly to the first card, adding some flower buds in a Pool Party color. This element is popped up with Dimensionals. I left off the Champagne Rhinestones this time to make it easier to mail, but those sparkly accents would look amazing!

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Forever Blossoms greeting in Memento Black ink onto a 3-1/4" x 3/8" strip of Pool Party, then I fishtail cut the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals.
