When stamps and punches coordinate, creating cards is quick, easy and fun! I made the four colorful Lacy & Lovely cards on today's post in about an hour! Gotta love it!
For the first Two Cool cards, I started by randomly stamping each size image from the Lacy & Lovely set in a different color.
I stamped the largest image in Daffodil Delight, the second-to-largest image in Pumpkin Pie, the next smallest size in Rich Razzleberry, and the small flower in Primrose Petals.
On my first card, I started overlapping some of the stamped images, but I quickly discovered that i didn't like how some of the colors were blending. So, I pulled out my coordinating circle punches and used punch-outs to finish the collage look.
Wow—using the punches made the layering super easy!
I tried to use the colors an "odd" number of times on this card and it think it turned out a little more appealing than the first.
Next, I tried Two Cool cards with a little more punching, layering and bling!
This one is by far my favorite! I like that there are only five main circles…the look is a bit cleaner.
But, most of all, I love the layers! I layered the small Primrose Petals flower, punched with the 1" Circle Punch, on top of two circles. And, see the tiny circle? That is the center of my Rich Razzleberry image punched out with the 1/2" Circle Punch. I topped off the medallion shapes with Rhinestone Jewels.
Here is the final card up close.
I didn't stack the layers as high, but I still used some two-color layering and more Rhinestones.
There are SO MANY options for layering with these images! Take a look at all of the different designs you get with all the different sizes of circle punches! Too Cool! (click to enlarge photo)
Along with the pretty, intricate circle images in the Lacy & Lovely stamp set, I also adore the look and versatility of the three sentiments! I'll be able to use those on all kinds of cards!
