Greetings From Santa Merry Christmas Cards

The second set of 6 cards we'll be creating with my Greetings From Santa Class Kit features the same Detailed Santa die, this time cut from the sparkly Dazzling Diamonds paper! See the other Greetings From Santa shaker card design, already posted.

Background Basics—I started this card layout with a vertically folded 4-1/4" x 11" Real Red card base. I die-cut the focal point with the Detailed Santa Thinlits using a 4" x 4" piece of Dazzling Diamonds paper. I love how Santa's curly swirls beard is so sparkly with that paper!

Popped Up Santa—I tried adhering the die-cut directly to the card base, but it looks so much more impressive with a few trimmed down Foam Strips (dimensionals) underneath to raise it up! Those Foam Strips are included in the kit!

Dazzling Stars—At the same time I ran the Santa die-cut, I also ran through the little die-cut stars that are designed to fit inside the Santa square. These are adhered to the card base using Tombow Multipurpose Glue and a Piercing Tool or tweezers for positioning.

Sweet Sentiment—I finished the card by stamping a Greetings From Santa sentiment in Garden Green on a 4" x 3/4" strip of Whisper White. I fishtailed the ends with the super-sharp Paper Snips before popping up this element.

Inside Décor—For the inside of the card, I die-cut a diagonal striped border along the edge of a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White with the Detailed Santa Thinlits. I also stamped the Garden Green tree and Real Red greeting images from the stamp set to finish the look.

On some of the cards, I added the Soft Suede reindeer image instead of the tree. He's so cute!
