Botanical Gardens Vellum Cards

I finally had a chance to play with the beautiful patterns on the exclusive Botanical Gardens Vellum Stack from the Sale-a-Bration flyer!  They are SO pretty!  I sure hope we have some patterned vellum like this in the new Annual Catalog coming out in June!

Background Basics—I selected a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of the Botanical Gardens Vellum and adhered it to the Tip Top Taupe card base with a strip of It's My Party Washi Tape in mint macaron.  The 1" x 5-1/2" Blackberry Bliss card stock is embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing folder, then adhered to the card front with SNAIL.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Suite Sayings sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a Whisper White Circles Collection Framelits die-cut.  It's positioned a little offset to the right to leave room for the flower.

Botanical Bloom—I used the Botanical Builder Framelits to create the pretty flower focal point.  The flower is cut from Calypso Coral with a Basic Black center, and I bent the petals to add more dimension.  It's attached with Dimensionals.  The leaves are die-cut from Mint Macaron card stock, tucked under the flower and adhered with SNAIL.

Finishing Touch—I added a couple of It's My Party Enamel Dots. 

Two Cool—My second version uses similar elements on a horizontal card base.  I used a different pattern from the Botanical Gardens Vellum Stack on the background.

I also tried a different greeting from the Suite Sayings stamp set and die-cut the flower from Crushed Curry card stock. 

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
