If you need a cute and quick gift card holder for Christmas, or any occasion, this project is the perfect solution!  We learned how to do this at Creative Convention in September.

The holder pocket is created with the Fancy Favor Box Die

This is a template I cut with the Fancy Favor Box Die.  The lines indicate all the score lines created with the die.  Of course, with the beautiful curvy edge, this is a fun box to fold together and adhere just the way it is.  But we are just going to use the front and back panels of the box for this project.

This photo shows you the two sections needed.  The first panel is cut directly on the score lines.  The second one is cut approximately 1/2" outside the score lines to create tabs.

Now, simply add some Sticky Strip to the tabs, and adhere the two sides together to form the gift card holder pocket.

The gift card pull tab is created with the Two Tags Die

You'll use the first tag.  I trimmed off about 1/2" from the bottom so the tag didn't stick out of the top as much.  Put a Glue Dot on the back of your Gift Card, then tuck it underneath the slit to hold it in place.

Now, push your Two Tags insert into the pocket, pushing the ribbon down as is goes.  Finish by threading the front ribbon through the Two Tags insert, and tying in the back.

When you're done, you should be able to pull the insert up by pulling on the ribbon.

Then, decorate the outside any way you like!  We used the Snow Much Fun set to make a cute snowman medallion. He's colored in markers and sparkled up with some Dazzling Diamonds
