Have you seen the Tiny Treat Boxes in the Holiday Catalog? They are easy to miss because they are so… well, tiny. Which also makes them automatically adorable even before they are decorated!
Tiny Treat Boxes measure just 2" square and they come in a package of 25 for only $6.95. They are designed to be used for making a Tiny Treat Box Advent Calendar! What a fun and creative idea to hide those tiny gifts!
We'll be decorating a Tiny Treat Box at my Fun & Festive Boxes Class, so you can try them out and see how fun they are to decorate!
Basic Boxes—We'll be decorating our Tiny Treat Box with some paper from the Trim The Tree Designer Series Paper Stack. The patterns on the papers will vary, but they will all feature the traditional Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Christmas colors.
Box Sides Décor—Each side of the box, as well as the box top, is decorated with a 1-3/4" square of Cherry Cobbler card stock, then a 1-1/2" piece of the Trim The Tree DSP on top. Most of my other Fun & Festive class boxes have a little accent of gold, so I added a 1/4" strip of Gold Foil on each side for a little shine. TIP: Use just a few dabs of the Tombow Multipurpose Glue and be careful not to get glue on the shiny part.
Mosaic Madness Accent—I thought that the shape of the Mosaic Madness image kind of looked like a little holiday ornament, so I stamped one in either Cherry Cobbler or Garden Green onto Whisper White card stock, then punched it out with the coordinating Mosaic Punch. One is popped up with Dimensionals on each side of the box.
Box Tops—I added just a couple accents to the top of the box to finish it off. I tied a pretty bow with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and attached it with a Glue Dot. Then I stamped a tiny word from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, punched it out with the Little Labels punch and popped it up with a Dimensional. Too cute!
