For today's cards, I used the Letterpress Winter stamp set to make a pair of quick and pretty snowflake cards!
Snowy Stamped Background—I started with a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock, which I stamped with the images from Letterpress Winter. I stamped the larger snowflake with Pool Party ink three times in a triangle pattern. Then I stamped the small flake in Night of Navy three more times.
I adhered the stamped background to a 4" x 5-1/4" Pool Party mat. Before adhering to the Night of Navy card base, I wrapped some Night of Navy Seam Binding around the layers and tied into a double-knot for a faux bow.
Silver Snow Details—To give the look of glistening, falling snow, I added some Frosted Sequins with just a dab of Multipurpose Glue. The larger sequins look great in the snowflake centers, and the smaller ones fill in some of the empty spaces.
Seasonal Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment from Letterpress Winter in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut with the Ovals Collections Framelits. It's popped up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
I also made a horizontal version with an Old Olive greeting. This time, I wrapped the ribbon around the front, then added a separate bow over the top of the ribbon with a Glue Dot.
The Inside—I stamped the pretty rectangle image from Letterpress Winter in Pool Party ink to decorate the inside of the card. What a perfect way to fill the space when you can't think of much to say—haha!
