Local New Stampers & Stamp Enthusiasts! It's time to RSVP for January's "Last Thursdays" card class coming up this Thursday, January 26! I have all the details below, along with details on my favorite card from the class!

Local Class Now Available! This class is so popular, I'm going to open my studio for local stampers to come and work on their kits on Thursday, February 9 from 6:30-8:30pm. See updated details.

Falling In Love Copper Hearts Cards

I have certainly fallen in love with the gorgeous Falling In Love Designer Series Papers! Each sheet has an elegant photographed pattern on one side and pretty coordinating designs on the other side. I used my favorite pattern for the background of this sweet card. Mostly, I LOVE the color combination. I'm not usually a "pink" kind of girl, but I adore the copper accents combined with the Blushing Bride & Sweet Sugarplum colors! This card would be a perfect Valentine's card, or anytime card, for your significant other or a close friend.

Background Basics—I adhered a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of the bokeh patterned Falling In Love DSP to a Very Vanilla card base..

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Suite Sentiments greeting in VersaMark Ink onto a 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Then, I heat embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool until glossy & smooth. This was layered onto a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Blushing Bride card stock. I tied some Blushing Bride Baker's Twine around the layers and frayed the ends before adhering the entire layer onto the card front.

Sweet Hearts—I die-cut the pretty Copper Foil heart shape with the help of the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and adhered it with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. The small heart is die-cut with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and adhered with Glue Dots.

Finishing Touches—I added three Blushing Bride sequins with Glue Dots, for some balanced shiny accents!

Two Cool—The second card features the same DSP, but this portion had a little more Sweet Sugarplum in it, so I brought out that color with the mat layer..
