I'd like to give a shout-out to all of the attendees at Ronda Wade's Creative Convention! We had such an amazing weekend filled with lots of creativity, inspiration, helpful business tips and fun with friends!
I had a display set up during the event featuring my Faux Patina Technique with two dozen updated examples of how you can use it with current embossing folders and stamp sets. I'll be sharing those on my blog over the coming weeks.

This is the final card we'll be creating at this week's "Last Thursdays" class featuring the Six-Sided Sampler set and 2013-2015 In Colors. I'm still really enjoying those In Colors and I love the look of them with the hexagons!
CASEd from Amy Storrie at Stamped With Joy.
I layered a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the Coastal Cabana design from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack onto a Whisper White card base for the foundation.
Then, I embossed a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Strawberry Slush with the Honeycomb Folder and adhered that to a Whisper White piece that was just slightly larger: 3-1/8" x 4-3/8".
The Six-Sided Sampler images were stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar, then punched with the Hexagon Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the same set, is stamped in Coastal Cabana and punched with the Small Oval Punch. I cut a little 1-3/4" x 1/2" Pistachio Pudding banner to layer underneath.
Before attaching the panel to the card front, I wrapped Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Trim around the end and adhered the ends to the back with SNAIL.
The finishing detail was an Itty Bitty Punch Pack flower in Coastal Cabana accented with a small Rhinestone Jewel. So pretty!
