March "Last Thursdays" Class & Sale-a-Bration Finale

You're Sweet Glimmer Cool Treats Cards

I think that the Sale-a-Bration Glimmer Paper Pack has surpassed all other Sale-a-Bration items for me this year! It just might be because the Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum & Mint Macaron colors are very similar to my "Too Cool Stamping" business colors! But, mostly it's because I can't resist all that sparkly goodness! We'll be making one last card with all three colors of glimmer paper for the March "Last Thursdays" class!

Background Basics—I adhered a 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of the Mint Macaron Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper to a Bermuda Bay card base. I think the pattern is flowers, but it kind of looks like frost, which goes with the "cool" treats theme! I added a 1/2" x 5-1/2" strip of Sweet Sugarplum along the edge of the DSP. I also wrapped some Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine around the card front and tied into a double-knot.

Shimmer Popsicles—I die cut the popsicle shapes from the three Glimmer Pack colors using the Frozen Treats Framelits. I positioned them onto a 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White and marked with a pencil where I should stamp the Cool Treats popsicle sticks. I stamped those in Smoky Slate, then popped up the Glimmer popsicles with Dimensionals. The layer is matted onto a 3-3/8" x 2-5/8" piece of Basic Black card stock, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I stamped the Cool Treats sentiment in Memento Black Ink underneath the focal point, then added a couple of Rhinestone Jewels!

Two Cool—The second card substitutes Succulent Garden DSP and Bermuda Bay for the background layers on a Mint Macaron card base. I also changed up the sentiment…much cooler!
