Truly Tailored Dapper Day Gift Card Holder Cards
The True Gentleman suite of products has everything you need for a magnificent masculine cards! The soon-to-retire Truly Tailored stamp set covers all of the "guy" occasions, so it's a perfect addition to any stamp collection! I especially love the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper with it's handsome stripes and plaids. Today's project is the great way to show off those amazing papers!

Background Basics—This card begins with a 10" x 4-1/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock, scored at 1-3/4" and 4-1/2" to create a fun card opening. The card front is a half-panel with the focal point layer overlapping the front and inside of the card.
When the card is open you can see that the card front has been folded back to create a gift card pocket.
Dapper DSP—I decorated the front of the card with a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of striped True Gentleman DSP. The inside of the card has a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of plaid True Gentlemen DSP that coordinates perfectly.
Dapper Focal Point—I mounted a 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of the bow-tie patterned DSP onto a 4" x 3" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. It's attached to the left card front panel only with Dimensionals. I stamped the Truly Tailored sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, then die-cut it with the 3" diameter oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. It's adhered to a Tranquil Tide oval die-cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then popped up with more Dimensionals. I finished by adding a couple of Rhinestone Jewels on either side of the words.
Gift Card Holder—I punched a little notch in the center of the card holder edge with a 3/4" Circle Punch, then I secured the sides with Tear & Tape Adhesive to create the pocket. Isn't that clever?
Inside The Card—The inside of the card is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut down to a 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" size so that it can hide directly behind the focal point panel. I stamped the Truly Tailored sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I love that this greeting can be used for either Father's Day or a birthday! Cool!
Two Cool—This second version starts with a Tranquil Tide card base and a slightly different combination of True Gentleman DSP. I stamped the greeting in Tranquil Tide this time, layering it onto a Night of Navy oval.
I changed up the inside greeting…this one is perfect for grandpas! Love it! My class participants will be able to choose the sentiment that works best for them!
Bundle It & SAVE—I didn't used the coordinating Tailored Tag Punch on this project, but good news…the punch is carrying over into the new catalog! It will coordinate with a brand new set in the new catalog, too!
