Hi Stamping Friends!
Let's check out another card from my "Last Thursdays" class tomorrow night. I'm still accepting RSVPs until 5pm today if you want to join us!
Did you see the Birthday Bash Washi Sheets in the new Occasions Catalog? They are 6"x 12" sheets of Washi Tape and you get 2 each of the 4 designs in each package. How cool! But, I hear you asking, "What do you do with these?" Right?!
Well, one thing you can do with these thin, transparent, self-adhesive sheets is to punch or die-cut it to create fun, patterned shapes. I tried them out on this sweet collage of transparent hearts that I CASEd from Lyssa Zwolanek!

Grungy Background—I started with 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Whisper White, then I stamped some Gorgeous Grunge splotches in Crushed Curry across it from edge-to-edge. This creates a foundation for my hearts.
Background Basics—Once the collage is complete, I matted this stamped layer onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Crisp Cantaloupe, then popped it up with Dimensionals on a Bermuda Bay card base.
Layered Hearts—I punched Sweetheart Punch shapes from the Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Basic Gray patterns of washi sheets and adhered them to the stamped background. It's so easy to adhere it…just peel the backing off and place them on your project!
Coordination Alert: The colors and patterns in the Birthday Bash Washi Sheets coordinate nicely with the Sweet Dreams Washi Tape and the Best Year Ever Sale-A-Bration DSP and Accessory Pack items. Too Cool!
I also punched a heart from Bermuda Bay card stock, texture embossed it with the Chevron Folder, and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Small Heart Accents—I added a small heart punched from Silver Glimmer Paper with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack heart. I also punched a small heart from Crisp Cantaloupe. Both are popped up with Dimensionals.
Colored Jewels—Finally, I colored some Rhinestone Jewels with my new Bermuda Bay Blendabilities Marker and floated them around the perimeter of the collage. So sparkly!
Sweet Sentiment—My sentiment is inked in Bermuda Bay and stamped with a saying from the Simply Wonderful stamp set, another awesome selection from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
Two Cool—The elements look great going vertical, too! It looks like falling hearts!
Sweet Sentiment 2—I needed a skinnier greeting, so I chose a different Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Best Day Ever for this sentiment.
