Hi Stamping Friends!

I think my stamping studio exploded! I honestly don't know how I accumulated this much stuff. Right now it looks like a tornado touched down, but somehow I'll get everything somewhat shop-able by the early-bird BOGO at tomorrow's class. Let's take a look at another card design from this week's "Last Thursdays" Class!

CASEd from Teneale Williams at her Teneale Williams blog.

Aren't the host sets in the new catalog fabulous?! The Whole Lot of Lovely set really caught my eye when I saw it featured on a card by Teneale Williams. I knew right away I wanted to make it for a class card!

Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Rose Red card stock with the Large Polka Dot Texture Impressions Folder, then adhering it to the front of a Rose Red card base. I could have simply embossed the front of the card base, but I like adding the extra layer so it's a little more sturdy.

Lovely Focal Point—The Whole Lot of Lovely "thank you" stamp is definitely that…lovely! I used a combination of Delightful Dijon, Rose Red and Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Markers to color directly onto the rubber, then stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White. It was then die-cut with the Circle Collections Framelits and layered onto a 2-1/2" Circle Punch of Rose Red.

Glittery Goodness—I used a 2-Way Glue Pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to each of the flowers on the focal point. Such a quick accent, but it really takes the card to the next, sparkly level!

Lovely Layers—I added a 1/2" wide strip of Mint Macaron, stamped on the outer edges with the stripes from the Perfect Pennants set in Mint Macaron ink, and fish-tailed on the ends with Paper Snips. It's adhered with SNAIL on top of a Floral Frames Collection Framelits flower shape in Delightful Dijon. Both the circles layers and the flower shape are popped up with Dimensionals.

Two-Cool—For my second version, I tried a horizontal format and swapped the Rose Red and Delightful Dijon colors.

Sweet Sentiment—This time, the flowers on the image and the circle layer are in Delightful Dijon and the sentiment and floral shape are in Rose Red. Instead of Dazzling Diamonds, I added two Rhinestone Jewels for some sparkle.
